I know reading can be hard to help with at home. These questions are great ways to start conversations/discussions about your student's reading. If you want to throw a challenge at them, have them write or type a reading response to one of these questions. In a reading response, I expect the following: 1. Restating the question with the answer in the sentence, 2. Cite the text and give an example to support their answer. They may cite more than one part of the text and give more than one example to support their answer. This is a great way to practice reading comprehension at home with your student.
