It's official! I'm hosting a few book clubs everyday during reading time! The end of the year is winding down and now is the time to show off our comprehension and discussion skills that we have all learned in 3rd grade! Currently in our book club and students are establishing groups rules/guidelines, daily goals, and extension activities to help them better understand their character's motives and actions. We have learned that characters in books take just as much effort to get to know as a best friend in real life. We have to pay attention to their actions, what they say, what they want, problems they run into, and patterns we notice in their behaviors. The kids are loving this! Happy May! ♥️
